Development of Paralegal Assessment Exemplars

The Safety and Security Sector Education and Training Authority (Sasseta) is inviting proposals from qualified Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop external integrated summative assessment (EISA) exemplars specifically for the Occupational Certificate: Paralegal at NQF Level 5, which carries 330 credits. This initiative is crucial for ensuring that the assessments are aligned with industry standards and effectively evaluate the competencies required for paralegal professionals.

The selected panel of SMEs will be responsible for designing and developing comprehensive assessment tools that reflect current practices and legal requirements in the paralegal field. This includes creating assessment criteria, sample questions, and evaluation methods that will be utilized in the certification process. The successful completion of this project will not only enhance the quality of assessments but also contribute to the overall professionalization of the paralegal sector, ensuring that practitioners are well-equipped to meet the demands of their roles.
