High-Resolution Mass Spectrometer with UHPLC

The National Health Laboratory Service is inviting bids for the procurement of a state-of-the-art bench top Quadrupole-High Resolution Mass Spectrometer (either Q-TOF or Q-Orbitrap) paired with Ultra-High Performance Liquid Chromatography (UHPLC). This advanced instrumentation is essential for enhancing the capabilities of the Toxicology section at the Forensic Chemistry Laboratory in Cape Town. The successful bidder will be responsible for the complete supply, delivery, installation, and commissioning of the equipment, which also includes a nitrogen generator, an uninterruptible power supply (UPS), and two workstations equipped with chromatographic software and libraries for comprehensive data analysis.

In addition to the initial setup, the contract will encompass a service, maintenance, and repair agreement for a period of five years, ensuring that the laboratory can maintain optimal performance and reliability of the equipment.
