Learner Support Programmes for Under-Performing Schools

The Eastern Cape Department of Education (ECDoE) is inviting bids from suitably qualified service providers to implement and manage intensive support programmes aimed at learners from under-performing schools in 12 districts. This initiative is designed to enhance the educational outcomes of Grade 10, 11, and 12 students over a period of three years, with the possibility of extension based on budget availability, supplier performance, and departmental needs.

The scope of work includes the development and execution of tailored learner support programmes, which will involve hosting special camps aimed at improving academic performance and providing additional resources to students. The selected service provider will be responsible for the overall management of these programmes, ensuring that they meet the specific needs of the learners and align with the educational goals set forth by the ECDoE.
