Litter Picking and Clean-Up Services

The Bontle Ke Botho (BkB) initiative aims to engage service providers for comprehensive litter picking and clean-up services across various municipalities in Gauteng, including Johannesburg, Ekurhuleni, Tshwane, Sedibeng, and West Rand. The selected contractors will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in human settlements, public open spaces, and other public facilities, contributing to a healthier environment and improved quality of life for residents.

Service providers must demonstrate experience in waste management and environmental services, with a focus on community engagement and sustainable practices. The project duration is set from the tender award date until the completion of the clean-up operations, with the expectation of regular reporting and collaboration with municipal authorities. This initiative not only addresses litter issues but also fosters community pride and responsibility towards maintaining public spaces.
