Business Continuity Management Services NEW

This tender invites qualified service providers to engage in the comprehensive review, maintenance, and enhancement of the Business Continuity Management Process and Plan (BCMP) for the Department of Trade, Industry and Competition (the dtic). The selected provider will be responsible for assessing current processes, identifying gaps, and implementing best practices to ensure that the dtic can effectively respond to disruptions and maintain essential functions. The engagement will span a period of thirty-six months, during which the provider will work closely with the department to ensure alignment with national standards and frameworks.

Key requirements include a thorough understanding of business continuity principles, experience in developing and implementing BCMPs, and the ability to conduct training and simulations to prepare staff for potential crises. The successful bidder will also be expected to provide ongoing support and updates to the BCMP, ensuring it remains relevant and effective in the face of evolving risks. This project is critical for enhancing the department's resilience and safeguarding its operations, ultimately contributing to the stability of trade and industry in South Africa.
