SASSETA seeks to appoint four recruitment agencies to provide professional recruitment services until March 2030. Agencies will support recruitment across various occupational levels, focusing on specialized and scarce skills.
The Safety and Security Sector Education and Training Authority (SASSETA) is inviting proposals from qualified recruitment agencies to form a panel of four service providers. This panel will be responsible for delivering professional recruitment services from the date of appointment until 31 March 2030. The selected agencies will assist SASSETA in filling critical positions across all occupational levels, with a particular emphasis on specialized areas and employment equity targets. Agencies must demonstrate their capacity to fast-track appointments and manage the recruitment process efficiently, adhering to South African Labour Law and best practices.
The scope of work includes receiving, capturing, and sorting job applications, providing pre-screening services, and recruiting staff for both fixed-term contracts and temporary assignments. Agencies will be required to maintain accurate records and provide regular updates to SASSETA. Importantly, the contract does not guarantee work, as recruitment will be on an ad hoc basis as needs arise. Agencies must also be prepared to reimburse SASSETA if a candidate leaves prematurely within specified timeframes, ensuring accountability and quality in recruitment practices.
This tender is suitable for established recruitment agencies with proven experience in providing recruitment services to corporate clients. Agencies must have a track record of successful placements and the capacity to meet the specific needs of SASSETA, including compliance with South African Labour Law.
