The selected provider will assess compliance with applicable OHS legislation, regulations, and codes of practice, identifying non-conformances and hazards that require corrective action. Each site inspection will culminate in a detailed report and the issuance of OHS Compliance Certificates for facilities that meet the required standards.
The scope of work includes inspecting fire safety systems, emergency preparedness, first aid facilities, electrical safety compliance, and overall workplace hygiene. The service provider must be qualified and experienced in OHS auditing and must provide proof of professional registration with the South African Institute of Occupational Health and Safety (Saisoh).
