Seeking a qualified service provider to update the 2027/2028 Sector Skills Plan for the Media, Information and Communication Technologies sector. The project involves comprehensive data analysis and report preparation across all provinces.
The Media, Information and Communication Technologies Sector Education and Training Authority (MICT SETA) is inviting proposals from experienced service providers to assist in the development of the 2027/2028 Sector Skills Plan (SSP) update. This project aims to bridge the skills gap within the sector by providing a detailed analysis of current and future skills needs, guiding sector priorities, and informing grant allocations. The appointed service provider will be responsible for reviewing the existing SSP, developing provincial and sub-sector reports, and ensuring alignment with national priorities and emerging skills demands.
The scope of work includes updating key chapters of the SSP, preparing provincial SSPs for all nine provinces, and creating sub-sector reports for the five MICT SETA sub-sectors. The successful bidder will collaborate closely with the MICT SSP Research team, ensuring that all deliverables are data-driven and tailored to the unique challenges of the sector. Deliverables will include inception reports, draft updates, and presentations, all formatted according to MICT SETA branding guidelines. This project is expected to enhance the strategic planning capabilities of MICT SETA and contribute to the broader goals of the National Development Plan 2030.
This tender is suitable for consulting firms, research organizations, and educational institutions with expertise in labor market analysis, skills development, and sector-specific research. Businesses with experience in developing Sector Skills Plans or similar projects are encouraged to apply.
