Social Relief Items Procurement Services

The Richards Bay Industrial Development Zone (RBIDZ) is inviting tenders for the procurement of essential social relief items to support community welfare initiatives over a duration of 36 months. This tender aims to engage a service provider that can deliver high-quality goods while adhering to the RBIDZ's Preferential Procurement Policy and Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) standards. Only emerging micro enterprises (EMEs) with a B-BBEE Level 1 rating will be considered eligible to participate in this tender process.

The selected service provider will be responsible for sourcing and supplying a range of social relief items that may include food parcels, hygiene products, and other essential goods aimed at assisting vulnerable communities. The RBIDZ reserves the right to evaluate tenders based on criteria beyond price, ensuring that the chosen provider aligns with the organization's values and operational requirements. Interested bidders must submit their proposals by the closing date, and late submissions will not be accepted.
