Soil Organic Carbon Monitoring Methodology

The Department of Environmental Affairs and Development Planning is inviting bids for the development of a comprehensive soil organic carbon (SOC) monitoring methodology. This initiative is crucial for supporting land-based mitigation strategies in the Western Cape, aligning with national climate goals. The successful bidder will be responsible for creating a science-based, fit-for-purpose SOC monitoring methodology that establishes a spatially explicit SOC baseline and data collection system.
