The Free State Development Corporation seeks a service provider for the supply and installation of an Electronic Document and Records Management System (EDRMS). This project aims to enhance operational efficiency and compliance with records management legislation.
The Free State Development Corporation (FDC) is inviting qualified service providers to submit proposals for the supply and installation of an Electronic Document and Records Management System (EDRMS). This initiative is part of FDC's digital transformation strategy aimed at improving operational efficiency and ensuring compliance with relevant records management legislation. The EDRMS will serve as the official repository for all corporate records, facilitating secure document management, collaboration across business units, and streamlined electronic workflows.
The successful bidder will be responsible for the complete implementation of the EDRMS, including data migration, digitization of existing records, and comprehensive training for end-users. The project scope includes ensuring compliance with South African legislation such as the National Archives and Records Service Act and the Protection of Personal Information Act. Additionally, the solution must provide robust security features, enhance information governance, and support the Corporation's transition from paper-based processes to digital operations, ultimately strengthening business continuity and audit readiness.
This tender is suitable for IT service providers with expertise in document and records management systems, particularly those with experience in implementing enterprise-level solutions in compliance with South African legislation.
