The KwaZulu-Natal Department of Social Development is inviting bids for the delivery of an accredited NQF Level 5 Train-a-Trainer programme aimed at enhancing the facilitation skills of 60 social services practitioners. The training will occur over three consecutive days at the Wentworth Youth Development Centre in Durban. The successful service provider must be accredited to offer the relevant SAQA-recognized qualification and unit standards, ensuring that participants gain the necessary competencies to effectively facilitate learning interventions within the social development sector.
Key requirements include the provision of all learning materials, conducting pre-assessment orientations, facilitating both theoretical and practical learning sessions, and managing assessments in accordance with Quality Council and SETA standards. The programme will focus on adult learning principles, facilitation techniques, and assessment methodologies, ultimately equipping participants to train and support NPOs and community organizations. This initiative is critical for strengthening the capacity of social services practitioners and enhancing service delivery across the province.
This tender is suitable for accredited training providers with experience in delivering adult education and training programmes, particularly those with a focus on social services and community development. Businesses should have a proven track record in facilitating similar training interventions and possess the necessary qualifications and accreditations.
