The Safety and Security Sector Education and Training Authority (SASSETA) is inviting proposals for the implementation of Business Continuity Management Services, effective from the date of appointment until March 31, 2030. The selected service provider will be responsible for conducting a thorough Business Impact Analysis (BIA), developing department-specific continuity strategies, and ensuring the organization can effectively respond to disruptions. This includes establishing incident response protocols, conducting regular testing and training, and maintaining the Business Continuity Plan (BCP) to ensure organizational resilience.
The scope of work encompasses tasks at SASSETA's head office in Midrand and its satellite offices across South Africa. The service provider will be expected to engage in comprehensive risk assessments, develop recovery strategies for both ICT and non-ICT processes, and provide training to staff on the BCP and Disaster Recovery Procedures (DRP).
