Security Services for Diamond Regulator Office

The South African Diamond and Precious Metals Regulator (SADPMR) is inviting bids for comprehensive security services at its head office in Kempton Park, to be provided continuously for a period of three years. The appointed service provider will be responsible for ensuring the safety of personnel, property, and information through the deployment of both armed and unarmed security officers. The service must include 24-hour coverage, with specific staffing requirements including three armed officers during the day and two armed officers at night, all of whom must possess valid PSIRA certifications and firearm competency certificates as per the Firearms Control Act.

In addition to basic security duties such as access control, patrols, and incident reporting, the service provider will be required to maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service. Security officers must be physically fit, well-presented, and trained to handle emergencies effectively.
