Subject Matter Expert for Digital Skills Programme

The Media, Information and Communication Technologies Sector Education and Training Authority (MICT SETA) is inviting proposals for the appointment of a Subject Matter Expert Facilitator. This role involves the development of a Skills Programme focused on Technology and Digital Skills Practitioner. The facilitator will be responsible for conducting workshops, creating assessment instruments, and ensuring compliance with the Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO) standards. Key deliverables include the development of a bank of 60 integrated summative assessment instruments, marking rubrics, and a comprehensive curriculum document. The project aims to enhance the skills landscape in the digital domain, addressing the growing demand for qualified practitioners in technology and digital skills.

The successful bidder will coordinate with various stakeholders, including industry role players and the QCTO, to ensure that the programme meets occupational and skills demands. The expected duration for the completion of the project is three months, with all documentation required to be submitted to the QCTO by the end of this period.
