The Presidency of South Africa is inviting proposals for a comprehensive impact evaluation of its five strategic outcomes during the Sixth Administration (2020-2025). This evaluation aims to assess progress against specified outcomes, provide insights into the effectiveness of implemented strategies, and generate actionable recommendations for future planning cycles. Additionally, the evaluation will reflect on the achievements and challenges faced over the past 30 years of democracy, offering a critical analysis that will inform the upcoming Mid-Term Report for the Seventh Administration (2025-2030).
The selected service provider will conduct a thorough review of the Strategic Plan 2020-2025, focusing on monitoring delivery and impact over the five-year period. They will also evaluate the Strategic Plan 2025-2030, ensuring that the Mid-Term Assessment Report meets the required standards for submission to Parliament and the Department of Planning, Monitoring, and Evaluation (DPME). The project requires a minimum qualification of Matric for team members, with the project leader expected to have significant experience in program evaluations. The successful bidder will be expected to deliver high-quality reports that are credible, actionable, and aligned with the strategic goals of The Presidency.
