The Eastern Cape Department of Public Works seeks Expressions of Interest from accredited training providers for a three-year panel to deliver skills development interventions under the Expanded Public Works Programme (EPWP).
The Eastern Cape Department of Public Works and Infrastructure invites accredited training providers to submit Expressions of Interest for a panel to deliver training services under the Expanded Public Works Programme (EPWP) for a period of three years. This initiative aims to enhance the skills of unemployed individuals, particularly those from previously disadvantaged backgrounds, by providing them with relevant occupational qualifications and skills training across various economic sectors including construction, agriculture, and hospitality.
Successful bidders will be responsible for conceptualizing, developing, and delivering training programmes that align with the needs of the EPWP. Key requirements include demonstrating capacity and experience in managing similar training projects, providing necessary accreditation, and ensuring compliance with the Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO) and Sector Education and Training Authorities (SETAs). The appointed providers will play a crucial role in equipping participants with skills that enhance their employability and contribute to economic development in the region.
This tender is suitable for accredited training institutions, non-profit organizations, and private training providers with experience in delivering skills development programmes, particularly those focused on previously disadvantaged individuals and various economic sectors.
