Protection and Control Equipment Supply

This tender invites expressions of interest for the engineering, supply, training, and support of a previously developed range of Protection, Control, and Substation Automation Equipment, primarily utilizing products from Hitachi and IST. The contract will span up to four years, during which the successful supplier will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of the existing system architecture, including the associated swing frame panels and PIU Junction Boxes. Respondents must demonstrate their capability to sustain the previous design intent, functionality, and provide guarantees along with training and product support.

The scope of work includes reviewing and potentially modifying existing designs, manufacturing and delivering the required equipment, and providing ongoing technical support and training as needed. Suppliers are expected to submit detailed information regarding their ability to meet these requirements, including indicative pricing for various schemes and the capacity to supply necessary components within specified timelines. This initiative aims to enhance Eskom's distribution capabilities while ensuring compliance with established standards and operational efficiency.
