Workshop Floor and Window Repairs

Transnet SOC Ltd is inviting tenders for the appointment of a service provider to undertake essential repairs to workshop floors and windows at the Rotating Machines Depot located in Umbilo. The project is expected to last for two months and encompasses a variety of tasks including the installation of steel plates, wall painting, and the fitting of new windows. Contractors must ensure adherence to safety standards as outlined in the Occupational Health and Safety Act and provide all necessary documentation for compliance.

The scope of work includes cutting and installing steel plates to close cable trenches, repairing workshop walls, and supplying and fitting window frames and glasses. Additionally, contractors are required to remove damaged flooring and replace it with concrete of specified strength. The successful bidder will be responsible for ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard, within the stipulated timeframe, and in accordance with Transnet's operational requirements.
