GRAP Standards Training Services

The Gauteng Provincial Treasury is inviting bids for the provision of comprehensive training on Generally Recognised Accounting Practice (GRAP) standards to municipal officials across Gauteng. The training will be conducted over eight days, divided into four groups of twenty participants each, focusing on key areas such as non-current assets, revenue recognition, debt impairment, and financial instruments. Bidders must demonstrate a minimum of five years' experience in GRAP training and provide qualified facilitators who are Chartered Accountants with relevant training experience.

The successful service provider will be responsible for developing a detailed training plan that outlines the curriculum, methodologies, and expected outcomes for each session. The training is crucial for improving the municipalities' financial reporting and compliance with statutory requirements, ultimately leading to better audit outcomes. Bidders are required to submit a comprehensive proposal, including client references, facilitator qualifications, and a detailed cost breakdown, to ensure transparency and accountability in the procurement process.
