Outsourced Payroll Services

The NECT invites qualified service providers to submit proposals for the provision of outsourced payroll services over a three-year contract. The successful bidder will be responsible for managing the entire payroll process, including but not limited to employee engagements, terminations, salary adjustments, and compliance with South African tax regulations. The scope of work encompasses the processing of monthly and ad-hoc payroll runs, ensuring accuracy in payroll reports, and maintaining compliance with SARS requirements, including eFiling and annual reconciliations.

In addition to payroll processing, the service provider will be expected to offer strategic advice on payroll improvements, maintain confidentiality, and ensure data security in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act. The contract will also require the provider to support the NECT in managing statutory obligations and reporting, including Employment Equity data and donor audit requirements.
