Lease of Athletic Club Facility

Polokwane Municipality seeks qualified bidders for the lease of the Remaining Extent of Portion 10 of the Farm Sterkloop 688 LS Athletic Club for a period of nine years and eleven months. The selected bidder will be responsible for the management and operation of the facility, which is approximately 211 m² in size and designated for sports activities. Bidders must present a detailed proposal outlining their operational plans, including activities to promote youth, women, and persons with disabilities, as well as a market research plan demonstrating the potential benefits to the local economy.

The successful bidder will enter into a lease agreement with the municipality and must provide proof of public liability insurance of at least R10 million within one month of obtaining the occupational certificate. A compulsory briefing session and site inspection are prerequisites for bidding, and non-attendance will lead to disqualification. The minimum bid value is set at R9,660.00 per month, including VAT, with annual rental escalations aligned with CPIX.
