The Department of Cooperative Governance aims to enhance the skills of its middle and senior management officials through a specialized training course focused on policy development and analysis. This four-day course will encompass essential topics including the policy environment, identification of policy problems, stakeholder analysis, policy formulation, and implementation strategies. Participants will engage in practical exercises such as drafting organizational policies, conducting stakeholder mapping, and performing SWOT and PESTLE analyses, ensuring they gain hands-on experience relevant to their roles.
The selected service provider must demonstrate accreditation and possess at least five years of experience in policy development and analysis. The course will be delivered on-site at the Department, utilizing face-to-face instructional methods. Training materials, including manuals and other resources, must be provided by the service provider. Upon completion, participants will receive certificates of attendance, reinforcing their professional development and enhancing the Department's capacity to address governance challenges effectively.
