Cash-in-Transit Services

The Abaqulusi Municipality is inviting qualified service providers to submit bids for the provision of cash-in-transit services. This contract will span a duration of 36 months, during which the selected bidder will be responsible for securely transporting cash collected from various municipal offices to the municipal bank. The service provider must ensure compliance with all relevant security standards and regulations, including registration with the Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSIRA).

Bidders are required to demonstrate a proven track record in cash handling and collection services, with references from previous contracts. The successful bidder will be expected to provide services five days a week, ensuring that all cash collected is securely transported and deposited on the same day. Additionally, the service provider will need to supply all necessary equipment, including secure bags, and maintain a schedule for collections that aligns with municipal operations.
