Professional Training for IT Auditors and Risk Practitioners

The City of Tshwane is re-advertising a tender for the appointment of a service provider to conduct professional and technical training for its Group Audit and Risk department. This training will focus on Information Technology auditors and risk practitioners, covering pre-selected courses designed to enhance their skills over a 12-month period. The successful bidder will be required to develop customized training materials, conduct workshops (both virtual and physical), and provide Continuous Professional Development (CPD) points for each course offered.

The training scope includes two main categories: IT training and risk management training. Participants will engage in courses such as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), and Project Risk Management, among others. The training aims to improve the auditors' ability to effectively audit IT systems, ensure compliance with audit standards, and enhance risk reporting and management practices. This initiative not only aims to strengthen the competencies of the auditors but also to benefit the City as a whole by improving the quality of audit reports and compliance with guidelines.
