PSiRA seeks a panel of accredited catering suppliers to provide catering services for meetings, launches, events, seminars, conferences and executive meetings at its offices across South Africa for 36 months. Bidders must hold a valid municipal certificate of acceptability and attend a compulsory briefing.
The Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSiRA) has issued a Request for Proposals to appoint a panel of accredited catering suppliers to supply and render catering services to its offices for a period of 36 months. The panel will serve PSiRA's offices nationally, including Centurion (Head Office), Pretoria, Arcadia, Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban, Bloemfontein, Port Elizabeth, Polokwane, Nelspruit, Mthatha, Thohoyandou, Northern Cape and North West. Bidders select the offices and catering categories they can serve through Annexure A, which covers four service types: meetings, trainings, stakeholder engagements, interviews and general meetings; launches, events and award ceremonies; seminars, conferences and exhibitions (including pre-packed meals); and executive meetings. Selection of an office or category does not guarantee work, and the panel will be used on an as-required basis.
Key compliance requirements include a valid certificate of acceptability from the local municipality for each premises from which services are operated, which PSiRA may verify through a site visit. Bidders must attend a compulsory virtual briefing session on 3 November 2026, complete and sign the standard bidding forms (SBD 1, SBD 4, SBD 6.1), initial and sign the General Conditions of Contract and Terms of Reference, complete Annexure A, and provide a valid SARS Tax Compliance Status PIN or CSD number. Pricing must be submitted for each selected catering category. Bids are evaluated on an 80/20 preference point system, with 80 points for price and 20 points for specific goals such as black ownership, women ownership, enterprise size and disability ownership.
The contract offers a stable, multi-year revenue opportunity for accredited caterers with the capacity to serve government offices across multiple provinces. Bids must be sealed, clearly marked with reference PSiRA/2026/27/RFB/06, and deposited in the PSiRA Head Office tender box at 420 Witch-Hazel Avenue, Eco Glades 2 Office Park, Centurion before the closing date of 20 November 2026 at 11:00. The bid validity period is 120 days.
