The iSimangaliso Wetland Park Authority invites tenders for the supply, installation, and commissioning of electricity submeters across various facilities. The successful bidder will be responsible for providing electronic or smart submeters that meet the minimum requirements of kWh measurement and Class 1 accuracy. Installation must ensure compliance with Eskom standards and include necessary components such as current transformers (CTs) and isolators. A Certificate of Compliance (CoC) must be issued upon completion of the installation.
The project aims to enhance energy monitoring and governance by accurately separating electricity consumption between commercial operations and conservation activities. This initiative will improve cost allocation and internal billing processes across 46 electrical accounts.
