Transnet is issuing a Request for Information (RFI) to identify qualified suppliers capable of leasing, supplying, installing, and maintaining an Automated Vehicle Inspection Booth at the Durban RORO Terminal. This booth will play a critical role in automating vehicle inspections, thereby improving turnaround times and increasing terminal capacity. The selected service provider will be expected to ensure seamless integration with Transnet's internal systems, providing high-resolution imaging and documentation of vehicles entering and exiting the terminal.
The scope of this project includes the full lifecycle of the Automated Vehicle Inspection Booth, from installation to ongoing maintenance over a period of five years.
