Disposal of Scrap Mixed Used Oil

Eskom is seeking qualified bidders to submit offers for the purchase, collection, and removal of scrap mixed used oil, including lube, hydraulic, steam cylinder, industrial gear, and industrial circulating oil, from Koeberg Power Station. This tender is open for a duration of 4 months, during which the successful bidder will be responsible for ensuring safe handling, transportation, and disposal of the contaminated oils in accordance with all relevant environmental legislation and Eskom's safety requirements.

Bidders must demonstrate compliance with the National Environmental Management Act and provide documentation such as a valid recycling certificate, waste manifest, and proof of accreditation as a waste transporter. The scope of work includes not only the removal of the oils but also ensuring that the site is left clean post-collection. Interested parties are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the condition of the oils prior to tendering, as disputes regarding the condition will not be entertained after the closing date.
