Supply and Install Game Fence

The Eastern Cape Parks and Tourism Agency invites tenders for the supply and installation of a 10km boundary game fence at Ongeluksnek Nature Reserve. The project aims to enhance wildlife management and conservation efforts within the reserve. Bidders must have a valid CIDB registration of at least 3SQ and demonstrate experience in similar projects, including the completion of at least three fencing installations valued at R1,000,000 or more in the past five years.

The scope of work includes clearing the fence alignment, repairing existing fences, and constructing a new perimeter fence using high-quality materials such as galvanized wire and treated poles. The contractor will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations, including the provision of personal protective equipment for workers. The project duration is estimated at 10 months from the date of site handover, and successful bidders will be expected to maintain high standards of workmanship and environmental stewardship throughout the project.
