Transformer Rewind Services

This tender invites experienced contractors to provide full rewind services for multiple transformers, including the Sere Substation 2.6 MVA, Uitkyk Transformer 1 20 MVA, Matla Overland 5 MVA, and Kriel PS 5 MVA. The contract duration is set for six months, during which the selected contractor will be responsible for ensuring that all rewinding processes meet Eskom's quality management requirements, including compliance with ISO 9001 standards. Contractors must demonstrate their capability through a detailed quality control plan and provide evidence of relevant experience in transformer repairs.

The scope of work includes dismantling, rewinding, and reassembling transformers, along with necessary testing and quality assurance measures. Contractors are expected to have the appropriate facilities, equipment, and skilled personnel to execute the tasks efficiently.
