Tourism Corridor Local Area Plan Development

The Department of Agriculture, Land Reform & Rural Development is inviting proposals from qualified service providers, firms, or consortiums to create a Local Area Plan for the Lake Xhariep Tourism Corridor. This initiative encompasses the Umsobomvu Local Municipality in the Northern Cape, the Koponong Local Municipality in the Free State, and the Walter Sisulu Local Municipality in the Eastern Cape Province. The plan aims to strategically enhance tourism activities, promote sustainable development, and boost local economies within these municipalities.
