KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training Renewal

The eThekwini Municipality is inviting bids for the renewal of its KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training subscription, specifically the Diamond level, for a total of 11,400 users over a period of 36 months. This initiative aims to enhance the cybersecurity posture of the municipality by ensuring that employees are well-educated on security best practices and can effectively recognize and respond to cyber threats. The successful service provider will be responsible for the implementation, integration, and ongoing support of the training platform, which includes the use of Artificial Intelligence Defence Agents (AIDA) to further bolster security measures.

In addition to the renewal of licenses, the appointed service provider must provide comprehensive support, including training for personnel on the effective utilization of the platform. The scope of work includes not only the delivery of training modules but also the evaluation of knowledge through phishing simulations and quizzes. The goal is to cultivate a culture of cybersecurity awareness among all users, thereby reducing the risk of successful cyberattacks. Bidders must demonstrate their experience and capability in delivering similar training solutions to large organizations, particularly in the South African context.
