Online Utility Management System Services

The Tshwane Automotive Special Economic Zone (TASEZ) invites proposals for the appointment of a service provider to deliver a comprehensive online utility management system. This system will facilitate the monitoring and management of water and electricity consumption, ensuring accurate data collection through automated meter readings. The successful bidder will be responsible for the supply and installation of various meters, including potable water and electricity meters, as well as bulk meters, on an as-and-when-required basis. Additionally, the bidder will conduct six-monthly servicing of water meter strainers to maintain optimal performance and compliance with operational standards.

The scope of work includes the development of a user-friendly web-based platform that offers historical consumption data, alerts for unusual usage, and customizable reporting features. The service provider must ensure compliance with data protection and cybersecurity standards while supporting multiple meters across various sites. This project is expected to enhance operational efficiency, reduce wastage, and provide TASEZ with critical insights into utility consumption patterns, ultimately contributing to sustainable resource management.
