Seeking a service provider to facilitate SANParks' accreditation as a training provider for the Occupational Certificate: Field Ranger and Eco Ranger (NQF 4) within 6 months. Key requirements include developing a Quality Management System and supporting documentation.
The South African National Parks (SANParks) is inviting proposals from qualified service providers to assist in obtaining accreditation as a training provider for the Occupational Certificate: Field Ranger (NQF Level 4) and Eco Ranger (NQF Level 4). The selected provider will be responsible for facilitating the entire accreditation process, which includes conducting a gap analysis, developing a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS), and preparing necessary documentation for submission to the Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO) through CATHSSETA.
The scope of work encompasses a readiness assessment, the creation of an academy blueprint, sourcing assessors and moderators, and providing post-accreditation support for one year. This project aims to enhance SANParks' capacity to deliver accredited occupational training aligned with national skills development priorities, thereby contributing to conservation efforts and field operations. Providers must demonstrate experience in facilitating SETA or QCTO accreditation processes and possess a strong understanding of the relevant regulatory frameworks.
This tender is suitable for consulting firms with expertise in education accreditation, training program development, and quality management systems, particularly those experienced in the South African skills development landscape.
