SASSETA seeks a service provider to implement Business Continuity Management Services until March 2030. Key requirements include a comprehensive Business Impact Analysis and regular testing of continuity plans.
The Safety and Security Sector Education and Training Authority (SASSETA) is inviting proposals for the implementation of Business Continuity Management Services, effective from the date of appointment until March 31, 2030. The selected service provider will be responsible for conducting a thorough Business Impact Analysis (BIA), developing department-specific continuity strategies, and ensuring that all critical processes are resilient against disruptions. This includes both ICT and non-ICT recovery strategies, incident response protocols, and communication strategies.
Additionally, the service provider will conduct regular testing and simulation exercises to validate the effectiveness of the Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and Disaster Recovery Procedures (DRP). The project will require close collaboration with SASSETA's various departments across multiple locations, ensuring that each department has a tested and effective continuity strategy in place. The successful bidder will also provide training and awareness sessions for staff to ensure familiarity with the BCP, thereby enhancing organizational resilience and operational continuity.
