Electronic Document and Records Management System

The Mining Qualifications Authority (MQA) is inviting proposals for the provision of an Electronic Document and Records Management System (EDRMS). The successful service provider will be responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive EDRMS that aligns with the MQA's governance framework and meets the requirements of the National Archives and Records Service of South Africa (NARSSA). Key components of the project include the development of a Records Management Policy, File Plan, and Registry Procedure Manual, alongside the digitization of existing physical records and the configuration of the EDRMS for optimal functionality.

The EDRMS must facilitate efficient records management, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards while enhancing operational efficiency. The project will encompass various phases, including project initiation, system development, user training, and ongoing support and maintenance. The successful bidder will demonstrate expertise in information security, data migration, and electronic signatures, ensuring a robust and secure system that supports the MQA's operational needs. This initiative aims to streamline document management processes, improve accessibility, and ensure the integrity and security of records.
