Seeking a service provider for a 2-day training on Corporate Governance and Risk Management for board members. Training to enhance governance skills and compliance with King IV principles, scheduled for May 2026.
The Banking Sector Education and Training Authority (BANKSETA) is inviting proposals from qualified service providers to deliver a comprehensive Board Capacity Building Training program focused on Corporate Governance and Risk Management. This training is aimed at enhancing the skills and knowledge of board members, ensuring they can effectively fulfill their governance responsibilities in line with best practices as outlined in the King IV Report. The training will take place over two days in May 2026, or at an alternative date agreed upon with BANKSETA.
The selected service provider will be responsible for facilitating a hybrid training session that accommodates both in-person and online participation, catering to a maximum of 30 delegates, including board members and executive management. The training content must cover essential topics such as risk registers, ethical governance, and the roles of various committees within the organization. Providers must demonstrate a strong understanding of BANKSETA's legal context and be accredited by a relevant body. This initiative not only aims to empower board members but also to foster a culture of integrity and accountability within the banking sector.
