Seeking a Subject Matter Expert Facilitator to develop a comprehensive Skills Programme for Technology and Digital Skills Practitioners. The project duration is three months, focusing on curriculum development and assessment tools.
The Media, Information and Communication Technologies Sector Education and Training Authority (MICT SETA) is inviting proposals for the appointment of a Subject Matter Expert Facilitator. The primary objective is to develop a Skills Programme tailored for Technology and Digital Skills Practitioners. This initiative aims to enhance occupational training within the sectors of advertising, film, electronics, IT, and telecommunications, ensuring alignment with current industry demands.
The selected facilitator will be responsible for conducting workshops, creating a robust curriculum, and developing a bank of assessments that meet the Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO) standards. Key deliverables include the preparation of scoping reports, assessment instruments, marking rubrics, and progress documentation. The project is expected to be completed within three months, culminating in the submission of all necessary documentation to the QCTO, thereby contributing to the upliftment of skills in the digital economy.
