The Independent Development Trust invites bids for a panel of multi-disciplinary professional service providers to deliver construction project management services for infrastructure projects in the Eastern Cape over three years.
The Independent Development Trust (IDT) is seeking to establish a panel of qualified multi-disciplinary firms or consortia of professional service providers (PSPs) to manage construction projects within the Eastern Cape Province. This panel will facilitate the efficient and transparent procurement of professional services for various infrastructure projects, ensuring that all stages of project management from initiation to completion are covered. Bidders must demonstrate experience in relevant disciplines such as architecture, engineering, quantity surveying, and occupational health and safety, and must be professionally registered with the appropriate councils.
The successful PSPs will be enlisted for a period of three years, during which they will provide services on an as-needed basis. This approach aims to enhance the IDT's capacity to deliver on its mandate of implementing social infrastructure projects effectively. Bidders are required to submit comprehensive documentation including proof of professional registration, relevant project experience, and compliance with all mandatory requirements outlined in the bid documents. The IDT emphasizes ethical conduct and compliance with the Framework for Infrastructure Delivery and Procurement Management (FIDPM) throughout the project lifecycle.
This tender is suitable for firms or consortia with expertise in architecture, engineering, quantity surveying, and related professional services, particularly those with a proven track record in managing large-scale infrastructure projects.
