GRAP Compliant Fixed Assets Register Compilation

The Msunduzi Municipality invites proposals from qualified service providers to assist in compiling a comprehensive fixed assets register that complies with the Generally Recognized Accounting Practice (GRAP). The scope of work includes the unbundling of infrastructure assets, conducting conditional assessments, and valuing both movable and immovable assets. Service providers will be required to physically verify all assets, review their useful lives, and ensure accurate reporting in accordance with GRAP standards. The successful bidder will also be responsible for training municipal officials and addressing any audit findings related to asset management.

This three-year project aims to enhance the municipality's asset management capabilities, ensuring that all assets are accurately recorded and valued. The tender is suitable for firms with proven experience in municipal financial management and asset valuation, particularly those familiar with GRAP compliance. Bidders must demonstrate their expertise through a detailed project plan, qualified personnel, and past performance in similar projects.
