Stationery Consumables Supply

Transnet SOC Ltd, through its operating division Transnet Port Terminal, has issued Request for Quotation (RFQ) PPA-172799 for the supply of stationery consumables for its Kendal operations. The requirement is a once-off procurement, meaning the award is for a single supply rather than an ongoing multi-year service agreement. All submissions must be made electronically through the Transnet eSupplier Portal. Bidders must register their company profile, log an intent to bid, and upload their documents against the tender, with a maximum of 30MB per upload and multiple uploads permitted. Pricing must be completed electronically within the portal; paper pricing schedules will not be accepted. Transnet strongly advises submitting at least one day before the deadline, as late submissions are not accepted. Bidders must also comply with the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act and the Protection of Personal Information Act. Security clearance may be required for personnel and subcontractors, and the successful bidder must sign the standard written contract (SBD7). Suppliers that are restricted, engage in collusion, or are found to have provided false information may be disqualified or barred from doing business with organs of state for up to 10 years.
