Oudtshoorn Municipality, in the Western Cape, has issued a re-advertised Request for Quotation (RFQ 01/09/2026) for the provision of accredited ICT training and vendor-specific certification programmes. Quotations will be opened in public immediately after the closing time at the Supply Chain Management Office at the same address. Quotations must remain valid for 90 days after the closing date.
The requirement is for accredited ICT training and certification programmes that combine general accredited training with vendor-specific certification pathways. The detailed programme list, learning outcomes, number of participants, delivery format, duration and any budget limits are set out in the full RFQ document, which should be reviewed carefully before quoting. Makomo on 044 203 3078, and document enquiries to Ms Janina Rollison on 044 203 3178 or janina@oudtmun.gov.za.
Formal quotations will be evaluated using the 80/20 preference point system prescribed by the municipality's Supply Chain Management Policy, which includes preference points for B-BBEE status and for supplier locality. Locality points are awarded to suppliers within the Oudtshoorn municipal boundaries (10 points), the Eden District (5 points), or the Western Cape Province (2 points). The municipality reserves the right to withdraw or re-advertise the invitation, reject any quotation, or accept only part of a quotation, and it does not undertake to accept the lowest quotation. Bidders should also note that not all projects under this quotation may materialise. Persons in the service of the state are not eligible for award.
This tender suits accredited ICT training providers, IT academies and training institutions, and authorised vendor training partners that deliver recognised technology certifications.
