The Road Accident Fund seeks proposals for the rental of laptops and monitors on a pay-as-you-use model for a period of five years. Providers must deliver, maintain, and support the equipment, ensuring scalability based on operational needs.
The Road Accident Fund (RAF) is issuing a Request for Information (RFI) to identify qualified service providers for the rental of end-user equipment, specifically laptops and monitors, under a pay-as-you-use model for a duration of five years. The initial requirement includes 287 laptops and 11 monitors, with the flexibility to scale based on changing business demands. Providers must ensure that the equipment meets specified technical standards and offer comprehensive managed services, including supply, maintenance, support, and timely replacement of equipment as needed.
The selected service provider will be responsible for delivering and collecting equipment across various RAF offices, maintaining an accurate asset register, and ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) for support and maintenance. Additionally, the provider must offer adequate insurance coverage for loss, theft, and damage of the equipment. This RFI aims to gather market insights to inform RAF's sourcing strategy and evaluate the capability of potential providers to meet operational requirements effectively.
This tender is suitable for IT service providers, equipment rental companies, and managed service providers with experience in supplying and maintaining end-user computing equipment, particularly those familiar with public sector engagements.
