Capture the Flag Cybersecurity Challenges

This tender invites qualified vendors to submit proposals for the development and provision of Capture the Flag (CTF) challenges for the South African National Research Network (SANReN) Cyber Security Challenge 2026/27. The successful bidder will be responsible for delivering a total of 64 challenges across two competitive events: 24 challenges for the SANReN CSC Final and 40 challenges for the SANReN CSC Qualification Round. Each challenge must encompass various difficulty levels and categories, including web exploitation, cryptography, forensics, and more, ensuring a comprehensive learning experience for participants.

Proposals should include a detailed technical evaluation matrix, a pricing schedule, and a portfolio of past experience in delivering similar challenges. The bidder must also provide sample challenges and solutions, demonstrate the ability to deliver bespoke challenges, and ensure compatibility with the SANReN-implemented CTFd platform. This initiative not only enhances the cybersecurity skills of students but also contributes to the broader goal of strengthening cybersecurity awareness and capabilities within South Africa's educational institutions.
