This tender seeks a qualified service provider to conduct Occupational Health and Safety training for ETDP SETA officials and staff. The training will cover essential OHS legislation and practices over a five-day period.
The Education, Training and Development Practices Sector Education and Training Authority (ETDP SETA) is inviting proposals from experienced service providers to deliver Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) training. This initiative aims to equip 22 OHS officials and union representatives with the necessary skills to interpret health and safety legislation and advise management on workplace safety issues. Additionally, online training will be provided for 150 staff members, ensuring comprehensive coverage of OHS standards as per SAQA unit standard 244288.
The training program will span a maximum of five days and will include in-depth modules on the OHS Act, employer and employee duties, functions of OHS representatives and committees, basic first aid, fire fighting, and emergency evacuation procedures. The selected service provider will be responsible for venue arrangements, catering, and certification of participants upon completion. This tender presents a valuable opportunity for providers with a proven track record in OHS training, particularly those familiar with the South African regulatory environment.
This tender is suitable for training organizations and consultants with expertise in Occupational Health and Safety, particularly those accredited to deliver training aligned with SAQA standards. Businesses with experience in conducting OHS-related training and a solid understanding of the South African legislative framework should apply.
