Communications and Stakeholder Engagement Services

The Development Bank of Southern Africa (DBSA) is inviting proposals from experienced service providers to deliver comprehensive communications, marketing, stakeholder engagement, events management, coordination, facilitation, and reporting services. This initiative aims to support the effective implementation of the Partnering Implementation Model (PIM) Pilot, the development of the Just Transition Finance Mechanism (JTFM), and the State of Climate Action Report (SOCAR). The selected provider will be responsible for enhancing stakeholder participation, conducting awareness-raising events, and ensuring systematic documentation of project processes and outcomes.

The scope of work includes planning and coordinating stakeholder engagements, developing high-quality communication materials, and providing reporting support across three pilot municipalities. The successful implementation of these projects relies on effective communication and collaboration among diverse stakeholders, including government, business, and civil society. By capturing and disseminating project insights and lessons learned, the service provider will play a crucial role in fostering informed decision-making and supporting the scaling of successful interventions across South Africa's transition to a low-carbon economy.
