Panel of Presiding Officers for Legal Enquiries

The Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSiRA) is inviting proposals for the appointment of a panel of Presiding Officers to oversee Code of Conduct Enquiries. This contract will span a duration of 36 months, during which the appointed officers will be responsible for ensuring that inquiries are conducted fairly, impartially, and in accordance with relevant legislation and regulations. The presiding officers will manage hearings, evaluate evidence, and issue findings and recommendations based on the merits of each case.

To qualify for this tender, bidders must be admitted attorneys or advocates with a minimum of three years of post-admission experience, or serve as Independent Commissioners under CCMA rules. They must demonstrate experience in presiding over similar quasi-judicial proceedings and possess a sound understanding of administrative law and disciplinary processes.
