The selected service provider will be responsible for duplicating the production environment, implementing continuous data replication, and establishing a robust backup solution with defined Recovery Point Objectives (RPO) and Recovery Time Objectives (RTO). Additionally, the DR site must be equipped with environmental controls, security measures, and 24/7 accessibility for MHSC ICT personnel.
The scope of work includes providing a dedicated 1 Gbps fibre link between the MHSC production site and the DR site, conducting quarterly DR tests, and ensuring compliance with relevant South African laws and regulations.
