Dark Red Aisle Carpet Runners Supply

Artscape, a National Cultural Institution listed as a Schedule 3A entity under the Public Finance Management Act, is seeking quotations (RFQ0111/2026) for the supply and delivery of three dark red aisle carpet runners. Each runner measures 1.20m x 10.00m and must have a durable, non-slip, flexible backing and a practical rollable design. The requirement is for goods with delivery to D.F. Malan Street, Foreshore, Cape Town, by 2 November 2026. The stated value is below R1 000 000.00, and the procurement falls under the quotation process with an 80/20 price/preference point system.

To be considered, suppliers must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and be based in the Western Cape Province, as only Western Cape suppliers will be considered for this RFQ. Quotations must be submitted by email to scm@artscape.co.za by 13:00 on 26 October 2026, with the subject line "RFQ0111/2026". Prices must be firm and VAT-inclusive. The following must be submitted with the quotation: a B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit, the SARS registration number and PIN for tax compliance status, and the completed standard bidding forms SBD 4 (Declaration of Interest), SBD 6.1 (Preference Points Claim), SBD 6.2 (Local Production and Content, if applicable), SBD 8 (Declaration of Abuse of Supply Chain Management System) and SBD 9 (Certificate of Independent Bid Determination). The Request for Quotation (RFQ) form, which includes the supplier response table and signature block, must also be completed and signed by an authorised representative. Suppliers are deemed to have read and accepted the Government Procurement General Conditions of Contract (July 2010).
